took a step further in spring cleaning. reorganised some of my really really old stuffs and packed away in some hidden corner to make more space for new stuffs. although i still think there’s quite a lot of things in my room, i think it’s neater now. at least i’m happy with the results.
the price to pay? back and neckaches abound. lol.
on a sidenote, with the looming economy that is seemingly always on the downtrend, how would you spend the chinese new year? well i’m working exactly where chinatown is and although the crowd is there, but i really wonder what is their spending power…
Learn Moreright, so there’s this assignment where i need to work out a machinima (machine + cinema).
we were given a choice to make a TV re-enacment, MTV or an original idea (really broad here but my team mate has chosen this, so i’m left with the other two option). our machinima piece must be at least 90 secs or +/- up to 2mins. so yours truly has decided to go with MTV after getting inspired by some dude. (ok so he’s called EvilDaedalus). i was awed with the character’s lip sync, only that he made it repeat wayy too much due to the remix. for the record, lip syncing with 3d models aren’t easy, let alone lip-syncing using game characters that you can’t control its mouth! =\
and i went ahead with researching more on lip-syncing (i heard it will help to score points, so why not.. ) and found some really useful tutorials on youtube. i was never a fan of half-life series, no matter how popular it is/was. but with my assignment requirements, i had to make my first purchase of the half-life game, just so i can download source sdk to do the lip-sync.
hopefully things will turn out the way i hope and i can complete the damned 2 min mtv in time.
oh yea, for the song, i’ve decided to use “My Cubicle”, a parody of James Blunt’s hit, “You’re Beautiful”.
stay tuned for an update after i’ve completed the video.

just caught ip man, or easier pronounced as yip mun. as with many others who have seen the show, breathtaking kungfu moves portrayed by donnie yen. absolutely amazing photography direction and the plot of the show moved rather flawlessly. some of my friends said something about the show being 2 hours plus, but i find it rather short.
for newly converted fans of the master of the famous international kungfu star, bruce lee, brace yourself as there might be a sequel to ip man the movie coming.
find out more about the show here.
Learn Morecontrasting issues:-
happy : sad
love : hate
friend : foe
hardworking : lazy
black : white
tall : short
first : last
and the list doesn’t end there.
today is the first working day of the year but it’s also the last day of the week. >,<
regardless, contradictions are always around us whether we like it or not. what we can control however, is to let the contrast gap bridge closer.
