“it’s none of my business”, said a s’pore citizen to me. yup, i’m a pr here, but does that mean i can’t find out more about what’s happening in the general elections? even more so when immature candidates who might have the potential to draw a high salary when they are being elected into the parliament. i gotta know where my money paid in taxes has gone to, no?
anyway, it’s polling day. my mom came out to fulfill her rights to vote as a citizen. sent her to the polling station just several blocks away. it’s a simple affair, with only 1 police officer guarding the entrance/exit. voting box is made of out of cardboard compared to steel boxes in m’sia. there wasn’t much people when we got there but probably because there’s plenty of polling stations all around.
let’s see how’s the results go tonight. good luck!
