first day of work during lunar new year

right, here i am, back in office from a long holiday for the chinese new year. somehow, although it’s been a week, but i felt the holidays wasn’t even enough! lol. probably a mega post but i’ll try to summarise on each day’s happenings. so let’s see how i spent the first 7 days of cny:

1st day of cny, spent at home with my parents in jb. every year we would have vegetarian meal together. watched some movies and went to mc’s place and fetch her back to my jb house.

2nd day, came back to sg, visited my aunt in amk. a usual practice, she invite relatives to her place for lunch during 2nd day every cny. at the end of the day, my parents went back to jb while i stayed in sg.

3rd day,  went to ssdc in hopes of getting my license converted. i was told that some documents expired and we had to go back to JPJ (equivalent of LTA here) to get new doc before we can submit for license conversion. sheesh, what luck.

4th day, lol went back to jb again. quite a rush cos we had to travel across causeway, beat the jam and quickly get to the JPJ and apply for a new doc. turns out there was some complications, and we had to submit the expired doc and cancel it before getting a new one done. after much hoo-haa at the dept, finally we got our docs. lol. mc had dinner with my folks and i sent her back to her place.

5th day, managed to get some rest during the morning and early afternoon. only until then i realised that i gotta do a bit of errand with mc. drove to her place and picked her up. went around town looking for banks. got something sorted out at the end of the day.

6th day, been travelling here and there for the past few days and this is one of the days that i get to rest a bit.

7th day, came back  out to sg. accompanied my sis in her hunt for her new house. saw a couple of them that was really nice. i mean, a 4-room S-type flat fully furnished with built-in wardrobe, built-in kitchen cabinet, flooring done, window grills are new and hdb is already halfway thru upgrading the block’s lift. only downside? it’s a 4-storey high block with shoplots on the ground floor. my dad really liked it cos we don’t need to do any further reno to it. just hope sis takes this place soon. otherwise it’s jus going to delay further.

8th day, well today’s the 8th day and it’s the start of working day for me. i think i have missed some details, but i really don’t wish to bore you anymore.
