christmas celebration @ woodlands’ clubhouse
all thanks to greg and gin, they organised this year’s christmas with a bang, literally.
first activity of the day, paintball @ red dynasty, khatib!
started the activity in the rain, though not heavy, it was enough to drag us down in the game. briefing of the games and division of teams took a bit longer than expected, but thankfully the game masters were keeping us entertained with their safety tips and do’s and don’ts. there were 12 of us, hence we were divided into 3 teams of 4; team A, B and C. i was lucky enough to be in the team A, together with eugene, law and his gf. the paint-balls were enough to last us 2 rounds each. and first match up, A vs B.
due to the weather, we were forewarned that our goggles would quickly fog up in the game and we would need to hurry up and get into position immediately after putting on the mask. true enough, within minutes into the match, i could barely see 3 metres in front of me, let alone identify my target nor where my paint-balls were flying. grounds were muddy and pools of water abound. the objective was to gather 2 objects back into the base; a flag and brick-life styrofoam. the game ends with team A winning 2 games, team B 1 game and team C nil.
next activity at woodland’s clubhouse! wii party games and board games followed by x’mas buffet dinner, gift exchange and log cake savouring. the rest of the gang went ahead while i went back home to pick up mc. when we reached greg’s place, the guys were already playing rockband. some were chilling out and some were chatting. we headed straight for some bridge, as tutored by greg himself. was my first time trying out bridge and i thought it’s kinda challenging. soon after, it’s dinner time!
after the delicious dinner, all 16 of us jumped into cranium! it’s a first for me, so it was an eye opener! brilliantly designed board game that can easily fit 16 players at 1 go! leafie took some pics, so i shall post some here.
