super shagged out. we ordered washing machine from euromark on friday noon, and it arrived 7.30pm, unpacked, unscratched and unscathed. our first new toy, electrolux front-load washer seemed rather stable. couldn’t wait to see it perform, we browsed through the manual quickly, read the “first use” section and pumped water, low-suds detergent powder and selected 90deg C cotton wash as instructed. watched gleefully in anticipation as the water level rises through the rounded window. lol.
anyway, my sis finally got the last of her stuff moved out on saturday. took whole day to clear out the storeroom full of her things. and thanks to my parents who came out all the way from jb to help them move their stuffs. we went to confirm our lighting, ceiling fan, kitchen cabinet, wardrobes etc.
after sunday gospel, spent the entire day cleaning the newly emptied storeroom and moving some of our rarely used items into the storeroom.
now looking at the quite-empty living, we really can’t wait to furnish it up!
saw the post from darryl’s site and decided to try out the sf iv benchie on my desktop pc. monitor’s only 17″ crt, so i could only go 1024×768. whacked 4xAA and several settings high except shadows to low. pretty decent result i think..
does anyone remembers the good ol contra game we used to play on nintendos? if you do, chances are you have pretty much used the 30 life/infinity life cheat called the contra codes.
for some reason, facebook implemented such code on their website and for the heck of it, i’ve got the same plugin installed on this page too! i can’t remember how long i had this site, but if you press the contra codes, you will be shown a surprise.

only activated for the second day now, yet the surfing experience has been greatly increased. video streaming is much smoother compared to my previous starhub maxonline premium (rated at 12Mpbs). torrents, well needless to say, i’m able to achieve 3-digit download from popular trackers. definitely worth the jump from green to orange camp.
on the other hand, got back home quite late, but took 15minutes to set up the new wireless N router. imac, laptops are able to surf well even with my torrents downloading. so far so good…
things are getting more interesting. 22nd june is coming real soon. time to whack a plasma tv, washing machine and probably a fridge. soon enough, it will be time to hook up my home theatre, wii and GUITAR HERO:WT!!
of cos, the place won’t be comfortable until we get new furnitures etc. later on meeting uncle Steven to see our new floor plan. really hope the reno cost will be kept to bare minimum.

note 2: bought a couple of things from pc show. a belkin n150 router, surge protectors and some eneloop batteries and charger. also signed up for m1 fixed broadband, 15Mbps @ 6months contract : $47/month only.
