speaking of which, who’s staying up to watch the ceremony?
historical, yea.. first african-american elected as the president.
will he save the economy? will he bring back jobs to those half a million plus?
will he _not_ go to war? will he.. oh nevermind..
for those who are not aware, my office is located jus above chinatown mrt. from my usual exit on the escalator and guess what? SUPER long queue for lim chee guan’s bak kwa!
i was kinda stoned out early in the morning until i saw the queue. absolutely crazy and do people really DIE DIE must eat lim chee guan’s and be so kiasu to queue since god knows what time. sheesh!
lcg’s has definitely stood against the test of economy downturn.
no $ nvm, got bak kwa can already…
took a step further in spring cleaning. reorganised some of my really really old stuffs and packed away in some hidden corner to make more space for new stuffs. although i still think there’s quite a lot of things in my room, i think it’s neater now. at least i’m happy with the results.
the price to pay? back and neckaches abound. lol.
on a sidenote, with the looming economy that is seemingly always on the downtrend, how would you spend the chinese new year? well i’m working exactly where chinatown is and although the crowd is there, but i really wonder what is their spending power…
